By downloading, installing, or using SoundCrew ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
SoundCrew is a social music sharing application that allows users to:
- Share music links from various streaming platforms
- Automatically convert links to work across platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, and more)
- Follow or add friends to see their music shares
- Create and manage private Groups for shared discovery
- Save favorite songs shared by others
3. Account Registration
To use SoundCrew, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Content
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you post (music links, profile information). By posting content, you grant SoundCrew a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute your content within the App.
Content Guidelines: You agree not to post content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Is harassing, abusive, or discriminatory
- Contains spam or misleading information
- Impersonates another person or entity
5. Music Links and Copyright
SoundCrew facilitates sharing of links to music on third-party streaming platforms. We do not host, store, or distribute any copyrighted music content. All music content is accessed through the respective streaming platforms (including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, and Pandora) and is subject to their terms of service.
By sharing a music link, you confirm that you have the right to share such links and are not circumventing any access restrictions.
6. Intellectual Property
The SoundCrew app, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by SoundCrew and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Use our trademarks without permission
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
- Use automated systems or bots to access the App
- Harvest or collect user information without consent
8. Third-Party Services
SoundCrew integrates with third-party services including:
- Streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, Pandora, etc.)
- Odesli/Songlink for link conversion
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services' availability or content.
9. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:
- The App will be available at all times
- The App will be free from errors or bugs
- Music links will always convert correctly across platforms
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOUNDCREW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoundCrew from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of France.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
